In February, Metaphor users can enjoy several new features including Column-Level Lineage, and improvements to key features, including Crawler Management.
We are thrilled to announce a new column-level lineage feature in this month's product update! In addition, we have made several product improvements, including better management of our self-serve crawlers. Lastly, Microsoft Teams users can integrate Metaphor into the collaboration tool to improve data workflows. Read about our exciting updates below.
Users can view detailed end-to-end column-level lineage within the Lineage graph.
Metaphor analyzes query logs from Data Warehouses and any internal API’s from dashboards to build out the lineage. Snowflake, Databricks and Thoughtspot are currently supported. Support for other platforms are expected in the next few weeks.
To help enterprises self-serve integrations, administrators can now Configure, Run, and View the status and history of crawler runs.
With a newly redesigned Crawlers Detail page, admins can easily set up and manage existing crawlers.
Microsoft Teams users can now find and install the Metaphor App to easily browse and search, access documentation, and receive essential notifications all from the Teams app.
